In its study, Ademe arbitrarily chose the lifespan of the equipment. For the computer these results are over a lifetime of 5 years. We learn that CO2 emissions are produced mainly during the manufacturing process. When we reuse a computer, we extend its life. We thus avoid the manufacture of a new computer and save CO2 emissions.
The environmental challenges of reconditioning are not only based of the reduction of CO2 emissions. Raw materials play important roles here. Water, rare metals, plastics, the production of these resources have social impacts that cannoot be overlooked.
We encourage our ecosystem to promote eco-design, repair, reuse, waste prevention and finally the recycling and revaluation of raw materials.
We are happy to support the Hancorps Plus association based in the Landes department in Seignosse. For more than 10 years, Hancorps Plus has enabled people with disabilities of all ages to discover and learn about sports activites. Several times a year, hundreds of people get together for theme days synonymous with conviviality, sharing and encounters.
In 2023, Iraty Diffusion is pleased to stregthen its partnership with Hancorps Plus and its president Bernard Henry. Our employees will join the teams of volunteers during theme days.
